What age are Team Repair kits best for?
We recommend ages 10-14, or 8+ with parental supervision.
Can I get Team Repair outside of the UK?
We are now distributed in the US and EU via iFixit! If out of stock, you can select "Notify me" to alert you when kits are available again.
Can I get Team Repair for my school or organisation?
Absolutely! Visit our schools page to find out more and submit a quote, or contact us directly at edu@team.repair.
Why do I have to return the kit?
Our mission has always been to reduce the amount of electronic waste created, both through teaching repair AND the way that our business runs. Therefore, we ask that you return the kits to us, so that we can 're-break' the gadgets and send them off to another family! That way, the same gadgets get reused over and over again to teach thousands of children repair.
Do I get anything for returning my kit?
Yes. Every time you send a kit back using the shipping bag and label provided, you'll get £10 credit towards your next kit. Make sure to send it back in the original labelled packaging so that we can track the retuned kit back to your account!
When do I need to return it by?
To get the £10 off your next kit, we need to receive your return before your next billing date, which you can find in your account. If it arrives after that, don't worry, the credit isn't lost. It'll just come off the payment after.
Can credit build up?
Yes, it stacks. For example, if you return kits 1 and 2 before kit 3 is billed, you'll get £20 off kit 3.
What happens to my credit if I've cancelled my subscription?
Please still send your kit back so it can be reused. Your credit will be saved in your account and applied if you ever subscribe again.
How do I manage my subscription?
Select the account icon in the header of this page to access your account. From here, you will be able to see when your next kit is due, and manage your subscription status.
What happens if my child accidentally damages the gadget?
Repair is all about trial and error, and sometimes things don't go to plan or parts get damaged - all part of the learning curve! Just let us know at support@team.repair.
